Methodology, sources and images
How each profile is made, where the data and formulas come from, which images we use and how to file a claim if something is not right.
What it is and what it is not
Anime Fit is an editorial section of zumbo that uses anime characters as a starting point to talk about training and nutrition. It is not an official site for any work. The routines and meals are original proposals, not official routines or diets of the characters, and they do not replace professional advice.
The three layers of each profile
What the work says: only facts stated by a cited source, with an access date. What we interpret: our own observations and readings, marked as such. What we propose: original training and nutrition based on cited guidelines and studies.
We do not use characters’ heights, weights, measurements or body-fat percentages, because the sources consulted do not publish them. The main source for data about the works is Wikipedia (in English), which does not replace the work itself: if in doubt, check the fact in the manga or anime.
Nutrition data
Values come from USDA FoodData Central, SR Legacy version (April 2018), per 100 g of edible portion. There are 258 foods, each with its FDC code and state (raw or cooked). Household servings are only included when the USDA publishes their weight in grams. If a value does not exist in the source, it is not shown.[1]
Formulas and ranges
- Basal metabolic rate: Mifflin-St Jeor equation (1990).[2]
- Activity levels: within the FAO/WHO/UNU categories.[3]
- Protein: 1.4 to 2.0 g per kilogram per day for people who train (ISSN, 2017).[4]
- Fat: 20 to 35% of energy (IOM, 2005).[5]
- Strength training: frequency, reps, rest and progression according to ACSM (2009).[6]
- Physical activity: WHO recommendations (2020).[7]
- Sleep: AASM and SRS consensus (2015).[8]
How routines are generated
A library of 73 exercises, classified by movement pattern, equipment and level, is combined according to level, days, duration, equipment and goal. Loads are not invented: effort is indicated with reps in reserve. Automated tests check thousands of combinations to avoid empty sessions, repeated exercises or durations outside what was planned.
Intellectual property, trademarks and rights holders
The works, characters, names and trademarks mentioned belong to their creators, publishers and other rights holders. Anime Fit is an independent section: it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, licensed by or endorsed by them and it is not an official product.
What we do: we name works and characters only to identify who or what we are talking about, with our own commentary and proposals. What we do not do: we do not copy text, dialogue, screenshots, illustrations, logos, music or video from the works; we do not use fan art or AI-generated images of characters; we do not sell products using their names or use affiliate links; and we do not use those names as a brand, domain or name of the tools. The facts in the profiles are written in our own words and cited, with an access date.
This describes how we work; it is not a licence from the rights holders, and what use is permitted depends on the country and context.

Wikipedia and other sources
For data about the works we consult Wikipedia (in English), whose text is published under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. We do not copy its text: we restate the facts in our own words and link each article consulted, with its date. The nutrition data from USDA FoodData Central is in the public domain (CC0 1.0) and we cite it as the source. The formulas and ranges come from the publications cited: we use and reference them without reproducing their text.
Images
We do not use screenshots, official illustrations, fan art or AI-generated images of characters. The only illustration in the section is “Kuro”, an original character drawn as a vector by zumbo, who does not depict any existing character.

Data and privacy
The tools run in your browser: what you type (meals, recipes, age, weight, height) is not sent to any zumbo server. This section uses no cookies and loads no third-party content. To remember your progress it keeps this data in your device’s local storage: the exercises you tick off, your preference to see technique, your last meal and its daily target, the recipe in progress and the ones you save and, only if you tick the box, your energy calculator details. Share links carry the data inside the address: whoever receives the link will see it. You can delete everything with the button below or from your browser settings.
Health notice
All content is informational and meant for healthy adults (aged 18 to 80). It is not medical advice or a personalized diet or training plan, and it does not replace a doctor, a registered dietitian or a qualified coach. Check with a professional before changing your diet or starting to train if you have a medical condition or an injury, are pregnant, have or have had an eating disorder, are under 18 or have doubts. Stop exercising if you feel sharp pain, dizziness or chest tightness. Nutrition values are averages for generic foods and energy estimates can differ from your real needs. Results are not guaranteed.
